Today’s card features the retired Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper with the “Happy Valentine’s Day” greeting from Country Bouquet Stamp Set. There are infinite ways to express love, and we wanted to ensure the this DSP offered a variety of patterns that will allow you to create your own expression. Many of the patterns feature hearts (of course!), but you’ll also find versatile patterns such as stripes and polka dots that can be used any time for any occasion. I wanted to get away from the traditional colors for Valentine’s Day and this DSP fit the bill. I love the Highland Heather color in this pack of pattern paper.
This is the sheet I used to fussy cut the hearts from.
The greeting is from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set and was stamped with Highland Heather Ink onto Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used the Sitched Rectangles Dies to cut out the sentiment.
The front white panel was die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies and then embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.
I used the same DSP on the envelope flap. No naked envelope for me!
