It’s all in the Designer Series Paper!

By | January 16, 2023

Good Afternoon Crafters!

I am happy, happy, happy! Today on my memories on facebook, I came across a post that said it was one degree on 16 January 2018. Today, on 16 January 2023, it is 60 degrees at this time and will climb to 68 degrees! I hate the cold – you gotta remember I am a California girl and I didn’t need a coat until I moved here!

Beautifully Happy

Anyhoo

For day’s card, I used the gorgeous, gorgeous Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper and the equally gorgeous Beautifully Happy Stamp Set. Did you know that they are both FREE (SAB items) with a qualifying order?

The stamp set is a two step process so no coloring for this card. I first stamped it with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Thick Cardstock and then stamped it again with Rich Razzleberry Ink using the coordinating solid image. Same thing with the leaves – only stamped solid image in Old Olive Ink. I then fussy cut the flower with our Paper Snips.

The ribbon (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo) was colored in with the light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The die used for the sentiment is from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

This is the sheet I used from the DSP. Isn’t it gorgeous?

The inside of the card. The sentiment and splatter image from the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set.

And of course, the envelope – I always have to embellish the envelope. Mary, from Stampin-n-Lingers, taught me that!

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. If you enjoyed my project for today, please be sure to visit my Card Gallery for lots of ideas and inspiration. Have a great day!
