“Embrace the Season: Using the Autumn Leaves and Earthen Textures Bundles a gorgeous fall card for our team challenge.

By | August 22, 2023

Good Morning Stampin’ Friends:

It’s Wednesday, the middle of the week or also known as 🐪 day. Have a great day!

Autumn Leaves

Front of the Card:

  • Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. This will be the base of your card.
  • Take another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and emboss it using the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. This will create a textured brick pattern on the base card.
  • Adhere the embossed cardstock onto the front of the card base using Foam Adhesive Sheets cut to the side of the embossed cardstock.
  • Die cut various leaf images using the Earthen Textures DSP, the Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP, the Pretty Peacock Cardstock and Very Vanilla Cardstock.
  • Arrange the stamped leaves on the embossed background, creating a cluster of leaves on one side of the card. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add dimension to some of the leaves.

Sentiment:

  • Stamp a sentiment from the Earthen Textures stamp set bundle onto a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink. Trim the strip with the smallest die from the Stitched Recentagle Dies and adhere it near the bottom of the card.

Embellishment:

  • Add bow using the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack with a mini glue dot.
  • Adhere 3 dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.

Inside of the Card:

  1. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock slightly smaller than the card base.
  2. Use the long dotted lines die from the Autumn Leaves Dies for the right side of the cardstock
  3. Take one of the die cut leaves and adhere to the left lower side of the cardstock.
  4. Attach to the base card.

Envelope:

  • Add one of the Very Vanilla leaf die cuts to the lower left hand side of the envelope.

This card design combines the rustic texture of the exposed brick pattern with the elegance of metallic leaves, creating a beautiful autumn-themed card.
