Hi Crafty Friends!
I usually make cards for my three granddaughters using digital images, and lately I’ve been loving digital stamps with a woman as the focal point. They’re 27, 26, and 20 now, so flowery cards are out — and whimsical ones definitely don’t fit the bill anymore either!

Card Measurements:
- Base card: Berry Burst Cardstock (2 pieces)
- 11″ x 4 1/4″
- 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Basic White Cardstock (2 pieces)
- Front Panel: 5″ x 3 5/8″
- Inside: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Scrap of Velvet Meadows Designer Series Paper (flowers and leaves)
- Envelope Flap: Velvet Meadows DSP
- 6″ x 2 1/4″
How I made this card:
To start, I took my base card and folded it in half using a Bone Folder for a nice, sharp crease.
Next up, I embossed the second piece of Berry Burst Cardstock with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to the front of the card. For the focal image, I printed the digital image onto the Basic White Front Panel and sponged the sky with a homemade cloud template using Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends — such an easy way to get soft, dreamy clouds!

Then came my favorite part: coloring! Using my Stampin’ Blends, I brought the scene to life with Petal Pink for the skin, Berry Burst for the bathing suit, lips, wrist band, and hat band, Pecan Pie for the wrist band, Balmy Blue for the water, Crumb Cake for the sand and rocks, Night of Navy for the sailboat, and Golden Glow for the hair.
Once colored, I adhered the panel to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little extra dimension, then tucked in some Berry Burst small flowers from the Dreamy Flowers Embellishments for a pretty finishing touch.

For the interior of the card, I added a floral accent to the Basic White Cardstock. Flowers were die cut from the Velvet Meadows DSP with the coordinating die and I fussy cut the leaves with the Detail Scissors, then attached both the floral image and leaves to the lower left side of the Basic White Cardstock.

Finally, I finished off the envelope by attaching Velvet Meadows DSP to the flap and trimming it to size — the perfect little detail to tie the whole look together!

Happiness really is handmade, and this week I’m making it extra sweet! From September 7th through the 13th, I’m hosting Bonus Box Week, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. Every time you spend $50 on Stampin’ Up! purchases through www.stampwithrachel.com, you’ll receive a free Mystery Box as my thank-you for shopping with me. And the best part? The more you spend, the more boxes (and surprises) come your way! Each Mystery Box includes at least one retired bundle, a full stamp set, a handful of beautiful embellishments, and a sheet of 6×6 designer series paper — everything you need to create, share, and inspire. I also have several brand-new bundles that will be included in the first box of each order, while supplies last, so the earlier you shop, the better your chances of snagging one! If you happen to qualify for two boxes, keep an eye out, because there’s an extra surprise tucked into the second one. This really is my way of saying thank you for being part of my crafting community, so grab what you love, treat yourself, and enjoy the surprises along the way
