Stampin’ Up! Country Living

Colors Used on this Project

Don’t know why this stamp set, Country Living, should remind me of the 1950’s song, Summertime, from Porgy & Bess.  Maybe because in both instances, the living is easy!

Loved this card when I first saw it on Pinterest!  In face, I think I bought the stamp set just to make this card(LOL)!  I changed a couple off things to make it my own.

There was some masking involved in adding the Hardwood Background.  I used a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of printer paper and tore a circle out of the left side.  I then placed it over the Whisper White Card Stock and stamped the Hardwood Background.

The boots were colored in using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, cut out using the Paper Snips and adhered to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
