Stampin’ Up! Bearing Gifts

Who could turn away these children bringing gifts on the back of a friendly polar bear? The heartwarming Bearing Gifts wood-mount stamp is perfect for Christmas cards.

I think this is one of the cutest stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog.  I stamped the image on Whisper White Card Stock with Black Tuxedo Ink.  Then I colored in the children using the Real Red and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers.  The polar bear was highlighted using the Smokey Slate Stampin’ Write Marker.

To create the background, I punched a circle 1 3/4″ using a post-it note to create the moon.  I added to the the front of the card stock and sponged Night of Navy Classic Ink around it.  I also lightly sponged the area below the polar bear and the strip of card stock being used for the sentiment.

The snow was created using the Aqua Painter and bleach.  I dipped the Aqua Painter in bleach and lightly touched the Night of Navy sponged area.

This scrapbook page from the MDS (My Digital Studio) is of my grandchildren, David, Felicia and Rachel at Halloween 2008.  After it comes back from the printer, I'll add a couple of embellishments and then it will be considered a hybrid (I think that's the right term.) Right now there's a special for Demo's where…
