Soft Summer

Soft-Summer-041909

I know that dogwoods are either white or pink but I could not resist making one in blue!  The main image was stamped in brown stazon and colored in using reinkers and a blender pen.  Using post it notes, I softly sponged blue on the card stock leaving a white border.  The sentiment was mounted on stampin' dimensionals so that it would create a soft shadow.  What do you think?  Doesn't the designer paper make the card?

Stay tuned for Stampin's Up! May special (celebration National Scrapbooking Month).  Buy 3 designer series paper and get one free!  This would be good time to stock up on that beautiful designer series paper.
