The Driving By Stamp Set is one of the sets from the forthcoming Sale-a-Bration Mini Catalog. Love the Volkswagen Bus in this set. I Also like the Volkswagen Bug – I drove a green VW Bug in the 70 and it was an automatic – a rare find since most of them were stick shift.
To begin, I stamped the VW Bus image onto Basic White Thick Cardstock. I colored in the top of the bus with Fresh Freesia, the tires with dark gray and the bumpers and center of the tires with light gray. I fussy cut the bus with our Paper Snips. The bus was also stamped on Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and fussy cut and attached to the bottom portion of the bus. The balloons were stamped with Tuxedo Black on Basic White Thick Cardstock and the two outer balloons were colored with Fresh Freesia and light gray. The center balloon was stamped on the DSP and then paper pieced.
The background for the images was die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Nuts about Squirrels Stamp Set and was punched out using the Classic Label Punch. The rhinestones are from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.
