Shabby Chic Heart

Hi Stampin’ Friends

shabby chic

I wanted to make a shabby chic item to hang in my craft room.  I have a lot of shabby chic cards scattered around the room but hardly any 3D items.  I pulled out the heart chipboard that was carried by us a couple of years ago and added the Comfort Café DSP (retired) as the background.  I covered the back in a coordinating pattern from in the same DSP pack (forgot take a picture!).

DressThen I added the Dress-up Framelits which was die cut using Soft Suede Card Stock.    I used non-SU lace  as a dress to cover the die cut and added Basic Jewels Pearls to the neck area.  Isn’t it a cute dress?

I used a strip of our Victoria 5/8″ Crochet Trim to the right side of the heart and added  non-SU Pearls (I don’t know what they are called but they come in a pattern and you just stick the whole thing to your project) on top of the crochet trim.  I finished it off with our retired 5/8″ Flower Trim (wished this hadn’t retired because I love it!).

I received my convention badge yesterday WHOOOHOO.  I am so excited about attending convention next week.  It will be a lot of fun because Stampin’ Up! out does themselves every year and since it’s their 25th anniversary, I just know they have something special in store for us.

Tomorrow I’ll show you the name tag I made for the convention bag we will receive upon check in.

Thanks for stopping by today
