How to line up your sentiment stamps

I was putting a stamp set together for a Christmas Card I am making today and I thought that I'd never shared the idea of how I line up my sentiment stamps so that they are straight on the wooden blocks.

1sentiment1

I take a ruler (I used a quilter's ruler) and draw a faint line across the bottom of the wood block.  I draw the line right at the point where I want the bottom of the last sentence to line up.

I then take my pencil and put a dot on each end of the sentiment right at the bottom of the letter.

I line up the dot on each end of the sentiment with the pencil drawn line on the wooden block.  Perfect alignment every time!    E-mail me if you have any questions.

Thanks for visiting.
