Saying good by to Branch Out

Good morning stampers!

The Branch Out (one of my favorite) stamp sets is retiring on 4 January 2010.  I like that you could use it for every season and it wasn't a stamp set that sat on your shelf until the season it was meant for arrived.  But, alas, it is retiring.  I have sold quite a few this month so I guessed it's a favorite for many of my customers too.

For today's card I decided to use the To the Nines Specialty Designer Series Paper with Always Avocado. This DSP works perfectly with Always Avocado, Sahara Sands Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip card stock. 

This card was made for Late Night Stampers Challenge #51.  The challenge was to use brads with your card, something I used to do quite often but somehow got away from it.

The tree was stamped in Chocolate Chip on Naturals Ivory card stock and the leaves stamped using Always Avocado.  The bird is stamped in Real Red. 

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped in Always Avocado on Naturals Ivory card stock.  It was then punched out using the Windows Punch.  I layered it with Always Artichoke card stock using the Modern Label Punch.

 All in all, it was a super quick and easy card to make.  And the bonus is that it can be used as a masculine card.  To see samples of other masculine cards I have made, click here
