Ready to Join Stampin’ Up!? Here’s What You Need to Know

Hi Crafty Friends!

Stampin’ Up! is revamping their demonstrator sign-up process starting July 1, 2026, to make joining easier and more welcoming. After noticing issues like people dropping and rejoining instead of staying committed, a restrictive kit-building process, a lengthy sign-up that couldn’t be saved, and a Starter Kit that arrived without fanfare, they’re rolling out a simplified process designed to get new demonstrators started quickly and feeling celebrated from day one.

Below is the continuation of how to join as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator — click here to catch the first part!

How the New Process Works

Step 1: Join

New demonstrators will:

  1. choose a team leader.
  2. accept required agreements.
  3. enter a few personal details.
  4. pay the $100
  5. click submit.

Step 2: Shop

Once their information has been reviewed and approved (usually very quickly), their Welcome Box ships (see below for details), and the new demonstrator receives an email with:

  • their demonstrator ID.
  • a coupon code to begin shopping.

About the Coupon Code

  • Valued at $125
  • Coupon code can be applied to any demonstrator order.
  • Order can exceed the coupon code value.
  • Any amount above the coupon code value:
    • receives the demonstrator discount.
    • counts toward the quarterly sales minimum.
    • earns Stampin’ Rewards if it meets the qualifying purchase amount.
    • counts toward the team leader’s direct-level sales.

Why This New Process Matters

This streamlined process supports behaviors proven to increase long-term success:

  • Signing in to the demonstrator website
  • Completing the payment profile
  • Placing a first order promptly

Relevant Policy Updates

  • Demonstrators who drop must wait 45 days to rejoin.
  • After the 45-day waiting period, demonstrators can rejoin under any team leader.

Why These Policy Changes Matter

  • This 45-day timeframe is short enough to support those who need to step away temporarily due to life circumstances, yet long enough to discourage dropping and rejoining solely to take advantage of a join promotion.
  • Previously, rejoining under a different team leader required a 90‑day wait. To keep things simple, we’re aligning both rejoin waiting periods to 45 days.

Additional perk for new demonstrators

  • New demonstrators may add eight free catalogs to any order.
