Remember

Hi Stampers:  Definition of REMEMBER (from Merriam-Webster):  to bring to mind or think of again <remembers the old days>.  When I first started making this card, it brought back so many memories of my Grandfather.   Going with him to the trash dump site in his old truck.  Or sneaking out to eat at the local cafe after church.   I'm sure there is an old truck somewhere in your memories.… Read More »

Staying in contact with customers

When I have a mini stamp camp coming up and I want to get the word out, I just send an e-mail to my customers who then forwarded an e-mail on to their friends/family and so on and so on. 99.9% of my customers are online and the one person, who isn’t, my godmother, is someone I talk to a few times a week so she’s always in the know.… Read More »

How Much Money Does Your Newsletter Make?

By John Sanpietro Certified Professional Development Coach There was a recent thread on SUDSOL about Constant Contact and other newsletter broadcasting services, and their cost. I pointed out that cost should be the least influential factor in deciding how to send out your newsletter, since you should be making more money from your newsletter than it costs to send. A large number of Demonstrators are sending out newsletters to… Read More »

Customer Spotlight

Hi Stampers Today I thought I'd share a card one of my customers (Martha G) made for one of her good friends. Just yesterday I finished a card for a good friend who is retiring soon.  I struggled for many days to come up with a design that reflected his successful career and his strong faith in God.  He graduated from Oklahoma Univ so I started with his school colors of… Read More »

How to start an e-mail newsletter – part 1

Written by Debbie McNeill Edited by Glenda Trexler Newsletters are an excellent communication tool for any business owner, but especially for a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. They help communicate your image, connect with customers and prospects on a different level, provide value to readers, and communicate any promotions and product offerings – keeping customers up to date. My mentor, Ali Brown, once said “It’s not your customers responsibility to keep up… Read More »

Flower Fancy

Hi Stampers   The Flower Fancy Stamp Set remains one of my favorite sets.  I decided to go simple on this card with the pearls as the only embellishment.  The colors used are Concord Grape and Very Vanilla.  The images were colored using Concord Grape and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers.  The background (Very Vanilla) was fed through the big shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  I added pearls… Read More »

Writing on the wall

Hi Stampers I finally put up my letters in my Stampin' Studio.  Several months ago I bought the Decorative Monogram R and C from the 2010 Definitely Decorative Mini Catalog but just hadn't gotten around to put them up in my room.  I love the look of the classic letters with the subtle flourish – how about you.  What is your style of letter?   And here they are on my… Read More »
