One of my readers requested the instructions for how to make the card that goes with the Adorable Owls Gift Bag.

The background pattern paper for this card is left over from the gift bag. The size is 12″ x 4″ which I trimmed to 10 3/8″ x 4″. I attached Old Olive Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 4″ to the back of the DSP for more stability. The front panel is Basic White Cardstock 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2“, cut with the Stitched with Whimsy Dies. The owl was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock and then fussy cut with our Paper Snips. The balloon is from the Elephant Parade Stamp Set. It was colored in with the light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker and Wink of Stella was brushed over the balloon.
For the inside, I added the same size Basic White Cardstock 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ which was also cut with the Stitched with Whimsy Dies.
