Friends 24-7

This stamp set is one of my favorites because you know I love floral stamp sets!  The designer series paper is Raspberry Tart which retired last month (boohoo).

I decided to use watercolor paper with this card.  I stamped the image with Black Stazon, then colored in the flowers with Regal Rose and Rose Red Stampin' Write Markers.  The leaves were colored in using a blender pen and Kiwi Kiss Classic ink pad.  I darken some of the leaves with Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.  I lightly sponged around the flower with Regal Rose.

The base is Regal Rose (11 x 4 1/4) folded in half.  The next layer is Raspberry Tart DSP (5 1/4 x 4).  I took a strip of Old Olive card stock and used the Eyelet Border Punch on each side and then adhered it to the DSP as shown on the card.  I then used Rose Grosgrain Ribbon to tie a knot off center (right of card).

TIP:  To save on ribbon do not wrap it around the card (the back won't show anyway).  I cut just enough to tie the knot and then have a little (about 1/4 inch) to wrap around the back and tack down with scotch tape. It's all covered between the DSP and the base card.

Finish the card as shown.
