By | October 13, 2023

Hello My Stampin’ Friends!

In this blog post, we’ll delve into the art of creating a vintage-inspired card using the delightful elements from the Saint Nicholas Stamp Bundle and Traditions of St Nick Designer Series Paper (DSP). Transport yourself back in time and infuse the timeless charm of yesteryears into your holiday greetings. Let’s explore how to achieve that nostalgic touch in your cards and spread the warmth of the holiday season.

Traditionas of St Nick

The base card is Mossy Meadow. The 1st layer is Crumb Cake which was embossed using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and the edges distressed with the retired distressing tool. The next two layers are Mossy Meadow and one of the patterns from the Traditions of St Nick DSP. Both were die cut from the retired Layering Ovals Dies.

St Nick was die cut with the coordinating die from the Saint Nicholas Dies and the sentiment was stamped with Mossy Meadow on Crumb Cake .

The ribbons used are the retired Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim and the gold from the Simply Elegant Trim. The wide ribbon is from (left side of card) is from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo and the embellishments are the from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Back Dots.

The inside is one of the sentiments from the Saint Nicholas Stamp Set and was stamped with Mossy Meadow on Crumb Cake. All edges were distressed with the retired Distressing Tool. The same embellishments were used for the inside.

The same pattern DSP used for the flap of the card and for the front, I fussy cut a small tree from the Traditions of St Nick DSP.
