Country Bouquet Card and Gift Bag

By | January 4, 2023

Good Morning Crafters!

Today’s post includes a card and gift bag I made from two sheets of pattern paper from the Country Floral Lane 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. The directions for the bag can be found here where I previously made a card and gift bag featuring the Adorable Owls Stamp Set from the Sale-a-Bration Mini Catalog.

Not only is the Country Bouquet Bundle for Valentine’s Day, but you can only use it for a birthday or all occasion card.

I layered the Sweet Sorbet base card with one of the sheets from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper.

I punched out the heart and leaves from one of the pattern sheets from the DSP. So easy to make a card like this when the punch does all the work for you!

The Basic White Die Cut (from the Penned Flowers Dies) was attached with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The ovals were cut from the retired Layering Ovals Dies. Basic White Cardstock for the plain oval and Sweet Sorbet Cardstock for the scallop oval. They were also attached to the card with the liquid glue.

To create the stem, I drew a line using the Mossy Meadows Stampin’ Write Marker and then cut it out with our Paper Snips. The heart, leaves and stem were attached to the front of the oval with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The twine is from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. If you enjoyed my project for today, please be sure to visit my Card Gallery for lots of ideas and inspiration. Have a great 🐪 day!

I’m not finding the owl card instructions from the 4×12″ paper trimmed from the 2nd sheet from the bag? This is so stinking cute:) I have my bag completed – so quick and easy. Thanks for this great project – still would love to finish up the card though. Thanks Michelle
