The Sweetest Song

Today’s card is one of the hardest to make.  It is a sympathy card for a dear friend.  The stamp set is called The Sweetest Song by Penny Black and available at Amazon . I colored the image with watercolor markers and then lightly spritzed it.  That created the watercolor look. The greeting was stamped with Black Licorice Ink.  The front panel was adhered to the base card with our… Read More »

Circle of Spring

The Circle of Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set is a “spring” card but I thought I would use it as a sympathy card.  Thank-goodness I don’t need one right now but I thought I would make it because I wanted a soft, simple card.  There a “happy birthday” sentiment also in the set, so you can use it for that occasion too!  For today’s’ card, I used the sentiment from Teeny… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Love & Sympathy

Today’s card features the Love & Sympathy Clear Mount Stamp set.I wanted a watercolor effect so I colored the flower image with Old Olive for the leaves and stems and Rich Razzleberry for the flower.  I then lightly spritzed it with the Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water) and then stamped the image onto Naturals White Card Stock.
