A Better Place

One of the hardest cards for me to make is the sympathy card.  Usually you wait until something happens and then you struggle with making the right one.  Having a supply on hand is a good idea and will save you a lot of stress.  Sending a handmade card gives it that special touch and shows the receiver that you care.
For today’s card, I chose the A Better Place Stamp Set with the Inside & Out Stamp Set for the greeting.  They are both from the new Celebrating Life’s Memories Mini Catalog.

I stamped the flower images with Clear Pigment Ink onto Whip Cream Card Stock.  I then added the White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Gun.

I  sponged Banana Cream Ink all over the Whip Cream panel and then sponged the Bubble Gum Ink concentrating on the flowers.  I took the smaller of the flowers from the stamp set and lightly stamped all over the background  using the Bubble Gum Ink.

I added Bubble Gum Silk and Sparkle Silk to give it a little bling and proposed the sentiment with our medium Journey Foam Squares.
