Love Life – April Bloom Box

This is one of the cards from the April Bloom Box.  The stamp set is called Love Life and it is absolutely gorgeous! I made the card per the instructions in the pamphlet we get with each bloom box except for a couple of things.  You know me – I can’t case a card perfectly – I always have to change something here or there. I stamped the double daisy… Read More »

Spring Botanicals Shaker Card

Today’s card features the Spring Botanicals Bundle.  This is such a beautiful stamp set and what makes it better is that it has a coordinating die!!! I haven’t made a shaker card in a long, long time and it was fun making this one. I used the Bubble Gum Silk for the background.  The silks are on sale this month for 20% off reg price.  It’s a good way to… Read More »

I used the Vintage… Read More »

Dogwoods

Yes the Dogwoods have started blooming and they are so pretty.  We have a lot of them in the woods around us. I started working on this card last year and put it aside.  In cleaning my craft room this month, I found it and finished it. It’s a digital file (can’t remember where I got it).  I printed it out on Oatmeal Cookie and then colored it using the… Read More »

Saying good by to Storybook Occasions and Spring Filled Prints

The Storybook Occasions has the cutest animal images in it and it’s retiring on 31 March 2018!  So if you want this stamp set, you need to order it before it’s gone. The Spring Filled Prints (full of gorgeous printed paper) is also retiring this month. I left off the greeting on this card because I’m not sure what I’m going to use it for.  It can either be a… Read More »

Happy Birthday Deena!

Today’s card features  a vintage/shabby chic birthday card for my lovely daughter, Deena, who lives in California. The main focal point of the card is the Vintage Burst Accesories Collection.  I love the vintage feel  of the accessories. Spread Happiness

I thought I would make another card using the gorgeous Spread Happiness Stamp Set Bundle from the February 2018 Bloom Box. I also made it in response to a team challenge to make a card using Bubble Gum, Watermelon Fusion, Sweet Berry, River Stone and Black Licorice colors. I made the background by inking up an acrylic block with River Stone Ink and then spritzing the block with our Watermelon… Read More »
