Blessings of Home for a Perfect Birthday

By | May 25, 2022

So, I was in a mood to make a shabby chic card and wanted to use the color “Misty Moonlight” in it. But I forgot I sold the cardstock, ink and marker because it retired! And, yes, I sell everything once it retires because I want to be able to buy the new things in the catalog without digging too deeply into my own pockets. Can you relate?

For the background I chose the Heart and Home Designer Series Paper layered with Basic White Cardstock and Basic Gray cardstock for the base card. The two layers were distressed with the retired distressing tool.

The image was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock. It was then lightly colored in with Night of Navy, So Saffron and Soft Succulent Ink using a Blender Pen to create a soft look on the petals and leaves.

The circle and tags were die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies using So Saffron, Soft Succulent Cardstock and the Heart and Home Designer Series Paper. The sentiment was inked up with Soft Succulent on the left side and Night of Navy on the right side and then stamped on Basic White Cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great 🐪day!
