For today’s card, I’m used the lovely Angels of Peace Stamp Set for the image and sentiment. I also combined it with the Ever Eden’s Designer Series Paper (DSP). I immediately fell in love with this little angel when I first saw the stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! July – December Mini Catalog.

If you look closely, you can see I added some cherry cobbler dots to make it seem like Christmas paper using the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The little angel was watercolored in using a Water Brush and the following colors:

  • Soft Succulent Ink for the dress
  • Gray Granite Ink for the wings
  • Early Espresso Ink for the hair
  • Evening Evergreen Ink for the berry leaves.
  • Cherry Cobbler for the berries and flowers in her hair
  • Ivory Stampin’ Blends Marker for the face & arms

The greeting was stamped with Evening Evergreen Ink onto the other side of the background DSP. It was then die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then layered it with Evening Evergreen Cardstock.

The ribbon is from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Back. I also added rhinestones to the flowers on the little angel’s head from the Red Rhinestones Basic Jewels.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great Monday!
