A Simple Card with Hand-Penned Petals

By | October 27, 2022

Good Morning Crafters!

Today’s card features the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set. You can send thoughtful cards in a hand-drawn style which also features beautifully drawn floral images and coordinating fill stamps that give the design an effortless watercolored look.

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock. I then stamped the solid flower with Highland Heather Ink and the leaves with the Old Olive Ink. The sentiment is from the Special Moments Stamp Set and was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink in the lower hand corner.

I then lightly splattered the background with both the Highland Heather and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers by tapping them again the Bone Folder to splatter the ink.

The front panel was first die cut with the Stitched with Whimsy Dies and then the Deckled Rectangle Dies. Lastly I added pearls from the Pastel Pearls embellishments.

This is the inside of the card and the envelope that will be used to mail the card. The card was stamped with one of the other floral images in Highlands Heather and Old Olive inks. The flap of the envelope was die cut using the retired Envelopes Dies.
