DIY: Petals of Beauty – A Stunning Floral Birthday Card

By | February 24, 2026

HI Crafty Friends!

DON’T MISS OUT! There are only about 4 days left to take advantage of this exclusive offer from Stampin’ Up! and redeem your Bonus Coupons. Be sure to check all the details at the end of this post!

If you’re looking to create breathtaking floral projects, this Bundle is one you’ll want to add to your collection! This beautiful set combines coordinating stamps and dies, making it so easy to create layered, dimensional blooms with realistic detail and texture. It’s perfect for cards, scrapbook layouts, and all kinds of paper crafts.

One of my favorite things about this set is that it’s a Two-Step Stampin’ set, which means you simply layer two or more images on top of each other to create one stunning final image. The result is gorgeous texture and dimension — and the best part is, you get to choose the colors!

Petals of Beauty

To make this card, I started with Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock, cut to 11″ x 4¼” and folded in half using a Bone Folder for a nice sharp crease. I then cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 5⅜” x 4⅛”, embossed it with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder, and adhered it to the card base.

Next, I cut a strip of Brush with Beauty Designer Series Paper to 3″ x 5⅜” and attached it to the card base. I then cut another piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 4⅛” x 3⅛” and embossed it with the Exposed 3D Embossing Folder. Once embossed, I layered it onto a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock cut to 4¼” x 3¼” and adhered both pieces to the card base.

For the floral images, I stamped three large flowers using Flirty Flamingo Ink. For the solid image, I stamped off once before stamping onto the Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock to create a softer look, then layered the lined image on top. The leaves were stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock. All of the stamped images were then die cut using the coordinating dies from the Petals of Beauty Dies, and I also die cut a large leaf from Mossy Meadow Cardstock.

To assemble the card, I attached the floral and leaf images to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals for a beautiful layered effect, and secured the die cut Mossy Meadow leaf with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink on Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock and punched out with the 3 Banner Punch. To finish things off, I added three dots from the Low Profile Dots and a sweet little bow made from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 5¼” x 4″ and adhered it to the card base, then added a strip of the same Designer Series Paper used on the front. To finish off the envelope, I cut a piece of the same DSP to 6″ x 2¼”, trimmed it to fit, and adhered it to the envelope flap for a beautifully coordinated look.
