DIY Floral Card Making: Beautiful Thinking of You Card

By | September 28, 2025

Hello my Stampin’ Friends!

Today is a beautiful day in our area, and it has inspired me to create a lovely card featuring the warm fall colors of Cajun Craze, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie.

Instructions:

  • Start by cutting your card base from Basic Beige cardstock and add the Cajun Craze layer.
  • Cut a piece of the subtle patterned paper to fit inside the border and glue it down as your background.
  • Next, stamp the large floral stamp from Layers of Beauty and die cut the image.
  • Using the Masks, sponge them in Cajun Craze tones for the roses and various shades of Old Olive for the leaves.
Layers of Beauty

Layer the largest roses first, then add the leaves and smaller flowers around them to create a full bouquet look.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the large image to add dimension and make them pop off the card. Stamp or add your “Thinking of you” sentiment in the center of the arrangement and fussy cut around the sentiment..

Finish by adding the small pearl embellishments scattered around the design.

Stamp a small image and color it using Old Olive for the leaves and Pecan Pie for the center. Then, adhere the Gathering Together DSP to the envelope flap and trim it to fit.
