Shop DSP with me

Okay, I got the business out of the way – now onto the reason you guys visit me 😂😂😂

Today’s card was created for a challenge on the Stamper’s Gals Team (Julie Gilson). The challenge was to create a Father’s Day/masculine card. So, I thought I would make a card for Chloe to give to my husband, David.

I used the Earthen Textures Bundle and combined it with the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper. I first stamped the leaves in Copper Clay Ink stamping off a couple of times. I also stamped and fussy cut one of the leaves because I wanted a smaller border than left with the die.

Before adding the vase, I embossed the front panel with the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder. I attached Chloe’s picture to a piece of the Country Inn DSP and then adhered it to the front with liquid glue. The washi tape is an old and retired one but I can’t remember the name. The sentiment is computer generated and die cut with one of the banners from Stylish Shapes Dies. It was popped up with dimensional.

The quote is computer generated as is the heart and paw. Yes, my husband loves to snack (all the time!) and Chloe just sits there and looks at him until he gives her a tiny piece of whatever he is eating. But that’s only if it is something healthy, not the greasy fatty stuff like chips, crackers, etc.

I used the same Countryside Inn DSP for the envelope flap.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit.
