It’s almost the beginning of the year and time for some masculine cards. I have two brothers, one son-in-law, two grandsons and one nephew who have birthdays in the first two months of the year! So to stay ahead on masculine cards, I selected the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set for today’s card. I absolutely love this stamp set and will use it a lot. One of the things I like is that it’s a Distinktive** stamp set; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. You can see that in the bear image below.
The image was stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Basic White Cardstock and stamped it twice to get a darker image. The ground was stamped with Cinnamon Cider Ink and the sentiment with Misty Moonlight Ink.
Today’s project is a fun fold card. The measurements and colors are noted below:
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ – score at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″ and 6 1/2″
- Cinnamon Cider Cardstock 5 1/4″ x 1 7/8″ (3 ea)
- Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ (3 ea)
- Basic White Cardstock Panel 3 3/4″ x 3″
- Cinnamon Cider Cardstock Panel 3 7/8″ x 3 1/8″
To fold card:
- Fold valley on the two outer score lines. >
- Fold mountain on the two inner score Ines. <
