Vintage Vogue

Opener

Does the name Vintage Vogue bring thoughts of dark, muted colors?  To me, it usually does.   But I decided to try it with soft Spring like colors and it works!  What do you think?

The card was made for the Stamping 411 challenge (#SSC129)  I paired the stamp set with Bashful Blue Patterns Designer Series Paper and Whisper White card stock.

FlowerThe flowers were stamped with Bashful Blue Classic Ink and then cut out with the Paper Snips.  NOTE:  I always reinforce the flower by adding one side tape to the back of the flower before I cut them out especially if I cam using Whisper White card stock.  They were attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Ribbon

I used the new Scallop Trim Border Punch from the Sale-a-bration Mini Catalog which will be available for purchase on 5 January 2010.

The Ribbon is the new Bashful Blue 5/8 Satin Ribbon from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I ordered several colors and they are beautiful!

SentimentI used the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder for the white background.  This new folder is also in the Occasions Mini Catalog and will be available on 5 January 2009.

The sentiment is Whimsical Words from the Sale-a-bration Mini Catalog.  The font style in this stamp set is gorgeous – this is definitely a keeper!

I'll feature several more sneak peaks in the coming weeks.  Did I tell you I absolutely love the new clear mounted stamp sets?  They are so easy to use and store nicely in their stamp cases.

Thanks for stopping by!
