Totally Tess

Good Morning Stampers

Opener

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today's posts features the easel card which will be taught at the New Techniques Class on Wednesday, 3 March 2010.

Totally-Tess

Face I stamped Totally Tess in Basic Black Classic Ink and then used my aqua painters and ink pads to color her in.  Her stylish top is paper pieced from the Tall Stories Designer Series Paper.  Even thought the theme of the DSP is children I was looking for something bright and cheerful and this fit the bill.

Card

The card image was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and the flower image was stamped using Rose Red Classic Ink.  It was then cut out using the paper snips and attached to Tess's hand with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it a 3D effect.

I added a small rhinestone to give it a little bling – Every girl need a little bling right?

Sentiment

The sentiment was stamped and punched out with the small oval punch and the Old Olive card stock (bottom layer) was punched out with the scallop oval punch and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The background (Rose Red card stock) was run through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Texture Embossing Folder.

RhinestonesOn the inside of the card I added a strip of pattern paper, a strip of Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, 3 small flowers from the Trio Flower Punch and some more bling!  You can never have too much bling!

Thanks for stopping by today – hope to see you tomorrow!
