Thoughts and Prayers

By | July 22, 2009

At class today, the ladies were talking about the need for Sympathy Cards.  We decided to have a class in September that would be Sympathy cards inclusive.  That got me thinking that I haven't made one in a while and the problem is that when you really need one you are not in the mood to make one.  So I decided I would at least try to make one every month.

Thoughts-and-Prayers

I used the Clearly Thanks Window Sheets found on page 169 of the catalog.  These sheets are so pretty and very useful when you want to make a quick card.

Please excuse the glare on the card – it's the flash.  I tried taking it from different angles and it wouldn't come out without a little glare.  I guess this type of card is best photographed in daylight without a flash.

This card consists of one 1/2 sheet of Rich Razzleberry folded in half.  The window sheet was attached using white brads and the sentiment stamped with White craft ink.  In order to cover the back side of the bards, I attached the window sheet to a piece of card stock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  I then adhered the card stock to the base card.  Simple and quick!

Before I forget, during class today, Liz Herrmann was the winner of the stamp set "Dear Friend".

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow!
