Hi Stampers
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. It's beautiful in our area right now with the leaves starting to turn. And it's also a great weekend because Arkansas won – GO HOGS!
For today's card, I used two stamp sets, French Foliage for the leaf and Thoughts and Prayers for the sentiment. I was trying for a simple, yet elegant card.
The leaf was stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink on Crumb Cake Card Stock. It was embossed with White Emboss Powder and set with the Heat Tool. I then lightly sponged Chocolate Chip Classic Ink around the leaf and scored a line on the upper left and lower right of the card.
I stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip directly on the card and then discovered it was slightly crooked. I didn't want to toss the card and start over again, so I stamped the sentiment again on a scrap of Crumb Cake Card Stock and then punched out using the Wide Oval Punch. Voila – the card was saved! I lastly added the Kraft Taffeta Ribbon (retired).
Thanks for visiting – have a great day!

Thanks Pat
Even if I won’t be wearing the sweatshirt except at Halloween,
it was a “must buy”, LOL!

What an absolutely beautiful card. I love the way the scoring at the top and bottom corners add so much to it. I must remember that one. Thanks for sharing.
