Good Afternoon Crafters!
Hope you had a pleasant weekend. We did – the snow finally went away (yay!) and it was a balmy 60’s degrees in our area.
Today’s share features the gorgeous Awash in Beauty 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. These double-sided sheets feature floral images that appear to be hand-painted in stunning watercolor hues that are sure to complement your handcrafted greeting cards and scrapbook pages. Thanks to Susan Campfield for her inspiration for this card.
The background layer (Basic White Cardstock) was cut with the background die from the Two-Tone Floral Dies. Note: I love that Stampin’ Up! has decided to name both stamp sets and dies with the same name!
The oval die cut is from the retired Layering Ovals Dies and the leaves were cut from the Flourishing Ferns Dies. The focal sprig is from the Awash in Beauty DSP and was fussy cut with the Paper Snips.
I used the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon for the ribbon bow.
For the envelope flap, I used the Fitting Florets 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit.
