Scalloped Heart of Hearts

I made this card for our Local Demo swap meeting held in Bella Vista on this past Sunday.  I bet you're thinking - "What??? It's Valentine's Day already???" (LOL).  No I just got a little tired of all the Christmas cards and decided to make a different kind of card.   I'll have the other girls cards up on my blog in the next couple of days.

Send thoughts from your heart using our Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die. This chemically-etched die cuts and embosses a lovely scalloped heart at the same time.  

The Red Glimmer Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog was perfect for the hearts.  It's a sheet of cover-weight paper covered with red glitter – a no-mess way to add glitter to any project!

I used the Be My Valentine sentiment from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Brush Stamp Set.  I have it in clear mount also but I prefer the digital images because you can make them any size you want!  From holiday celebrations to congratulations, you’ll find everything you need in the sentiments of this 12-piece set to enjoy special occasions all year.

I covered the little heart  (next to "Be my" on the sentiment by adding a punch image and then coloring (colorful) it the same color as the background.
