Rooted in Nature

Today’s post features the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set. There is a coordinating die ( that is $15.60 – reg price is $39.00) on the retiring list. So if you have the stamp set, you may want to get the dies before they are gone.

  • Die cut a window sheet (4″ x 5 1/4″) with a Layering Squares Die to use as template for the sponging.
  • Place it over a Whisper White Card Stock (4″ x 5 1/4″) and tape down with a piece of Washi Tape.
  • Lightly sponge (Stampin’ Sponges) Balmy Blue Classic Ink over the top of the opening square lighter was you sponge toward the middle.
  • Starting at the bottom of the square, lightly sponge Mossy Meadow Classic Ink and work it toward the middle.
  • Stamp the tree image with Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. I use the Stamparatus to stamp it a couple of times for a darker bolder look.
  • Stamp with greeting from the Home to Roost (retired) stamp set with Black Tuxedo Classic Ink.
  • Attached to Mossy Meadow Card Stock (base card)

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great rest of the week!
