I created  this Merry Christmas Card with the Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils. The images are from the Poinsettia Burst Stamp Set and the greeting is from the Snowmen Days Stamp Set.

I used our Color Splash Sheets because this is a thicker sheet and perfect for watercolor – it won’t give you that wet warped look like cardstock.

First, apply a few drops of water to a Clear Block. Grab your first watercolor pencil and transfer the color into the water with a Journey Blending Brush. Tap the Poinsettia stamp from The Poinsettia Burst Stamp Set into the color mixture and onto the Color Splash Sheet.  Repeat with the green leaves.

It is the holidays, so before you finish, give your project that gold shimmer. Add a bit of Journey Gold Splash to the Ink Splat Stamp and stamped randomly across the background.
