Masculine Monday and how I goofed twice!

NEW ON TODAY’S BLOG

I made two cards with the Sailing Home Bundle. Because I forgot I had the dies, I fussy cut 3 items for my card. A couple of days later I decided to make another card using the same stamp set but changing a couple of things. Again I fussy cut 3 items for that card. Next day I’m looking for a set of dies and come across the Smooth Sailing Dies!! And that is why I put the dies in with the stamp set! Somehow I forgot to do this in this case. Can you remember which stamp set has a coordinating die set if you keep them separate?

I love the name of this stamp set. That’s what we would say at the end of the day when we spent the day sailing!

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. Since we are ex-sailors – we sailed the Channel Island when we lived in California, I knew my husband would love this card.

I used the Oh So Ombre 6 x 6 Designer Series from the FREE Products you get during Sale-a-Bration. Did you know it ends on 28 February? Only 7 days left until you can get this awesome DSP for FREE! After adhering the DSP to the background panel, I embossed it with the 3D Subtle Embossing Folder.

Wasn’t sure what to use for the anchor line then remembered I had the small chain that would be perfect for the line.

The greeting was computer generated because I wanted a personalized greeting. All images were popped up using our Stampin’ Dimensionals. The chain was attached with Mini Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by today.
