Life is Beautiful
Today’s card is for a dear friend whose wife has gone into a care facility because she has dementia. Although he is a retired school teacher, he is (as we like to call them in our area) a good old home boy. Loves farm life. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State and my husband is a graduate of University of Arkansas so there is a lot of fun competition during football season!
I used the tractor image from the Good Life Collection (Life is Beautiful Stamp Set). If you like the farmhouse look, then you are going to absolutely love the Good Life Collection from our annual catalog! Click here to see all the stamps available in that collection.
The tractor image was colored in using our Journey Color Burst Pencils. The sky was made stamping the Ink Splat Stamp all over the top half of the background with Pool Play Ink. The bottom was created using one of our sponges and Green Olive ink.
The Garden Fence Die is part of the Good Life Collection. I embossed it using the Barnwall Embossing Folder to give it a more realistic look.
