Lazy Days as a Z Fun Fold Card – The Best is Yet to Come!

By | June 2, 2023

Good Afternoon Crafters!

What’s happening this month at Stamp with Rachel!

Looks like June will be a busy month:

Today’s card features the Lazy Days Stamp Set Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This set includes a variety of sentiments and artwork that can be used alone or paired together for more versatility. The open line-art images of the set feature a rocking chair, a rug, plants, birds, and more.

Using the Lazy Days Stamp Set, I created a Z-Fun Fold Card and included images from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set Bundle and a die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies.

I took the background image from the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. Did you know that it is on sale for $10.62 during the month of June 2023. The paper loaded with happy flowers—you can’t help but feel the cheer! One side of each sheet is abloom with daisies; the other side has a subtle wash design that complements any project. Plus, one sheet includes multiple individual pieces that you can cut out and use on card fronts, so creating cards is quick and easy.

Fresh as a Daisy #161289 Reg $12.50 – Sale $10.62

The base card is Basic White Thick Cardstock with a layer of Wild Wheat Cardstock and then the paper with the sky/clouds/ground background.

I added the portico, rock chair, table, bird and hanging plant die cut from the coordinating dies from the Lazy Days Dies. They stamped with Pebble Path Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock and then colored with the following blends:

  • Pebble Path for the chair and table
  • Daffodil Delight for the lemonade
  • Boho Blue for the bird
  • Old Olive for the leaves on the hanging plant
  • Copper Clay for the pot for the leaves

The greeting is from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and was stamped with Pebble Path Ink on Basic White Cardstock and then cut with a circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I then lightly stamped a floral image over the sentiment with Boho Blue Ink. The sprigs are from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and the Cheerful Daisies Dies.

The pot in the center panel was stamped with Pebble Path and color in with Old Olive for the leaves, Crumb Cake for the pot and Copper Clay for the rings around the pot.

For the envelope flap I used one of the pattern sheets from Fresh as a Daisy DSP in the color Boho Blue.
