Last Day for….. and a card for you

Hi Stampers

Monday is the last day for my Black Friday/Cyber Monday special  though the Online Extravaganza continues until Wednesday, 30 November 2011.  If you would love a FREE Simply Scored Scoring Tool, check out my special!

Opener

My radio station is playing Christmas music all day long from now until Christmas.  I love Christmas music and it puts me in the mood to make Christmas cards!  Perhaps I should play it in August when I should be making my cards (LOL)!

Pines & PoinsettiasFor today's card, I used the Pines & Poinsettias Stamp Set.  Yes, I am using a stamp set today! The classic combination of poinsettias, pinecones, and berries make this five-piece stamp set a stand-out favorite for your holiday cards and scrapbook pages.

The Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog was used for the background.  I love the combination of the berries, leaves pinecones and plaids.

I used Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers to color in the image and stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock.

I used the Designer Frames Embossing Folder to frame the Berries & Pinecones.  I then cut it out with Paper Snips.  The layer under that was made with the Oval Original Die.  pssst!!  I found out how you can use the die with the embossing folder and not have to cut out any more ovals!  I show you how on my card tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by today
