Jar of Flowers
Canning jar vases reminds me of my grandmother and days gone by. She had a large flower garden and was always bring flowers into the house.
Today’s card features the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set along with the Daisy Lane Stamp Set used for the sentiment.
The flowers and jar were stamped with Black Tuxedo Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped the flowers first, masked them and then stamped the jar. I used the following Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the flowers:
- Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, and Blushing Bride
For the leaves and the stems, I used the following markers:
- Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso
For the background, I added a strip of the retired Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. I then embossed the card front with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and then scored a 1/4 border around the card front with the Simply Score Tool. To finish off the card I splattered ink around the main image with the Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker and the retired Color Spritzer Tool.
