It’s The Best Time of the Year

You can make a simple silhouette winter scene card in minutes using the Grove Dies and New Horizon Designer Series Paper as the background.

To start, die cut the Basic White cardstock with the silhouette die from the Grove Dies. Also die cut one of the small deer with the same cardstock. Adhere the silhouette and deer dies to the background (from New Horizons DSP) using Multipurpose Glue. I then embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossed Folder to give it a little interest.

After mounting to background, I trimmed the front panel down to 4 7/8″ x 3 3/8″. I then attached to Night of Navy Cardstock, 5″ x 3 1/2″. The next layer (Basic White Cardstock) measures at 5 1/4″ x 4″. Attached the front panel to it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The base card is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. To finish the card off, I added the greeting (from Peaceful Deer Stamp Set) and the rhinestones as twinkling stars.

This is the envelope and inside of the card. I used the deer dies from the Grove Dies and the same pattern paper as the front of the for the deer. The same pattern paper was adhered to the flap of the envelope.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit.
