I {Heart} Hearts

I shamelessly cased this from Lee Conroy.  Thanks Lee for the inspiration!  In making this card, I changed a couple of things like the colors used and the main image.  Her heart was from the Embosslits Die which is in the Occasions Mini and I used the heart from the I {Hearts} Hearts stamp set which came out in the same mini catalog.  This heart is gorgeous and looks shabby chic which is one of my favorite type of cards.

The ladies at the Valentine Stamp Camp will be making this card among several that I have posted in the last couple of days.  The class will be on Wednesday, 27 January 2010 at my home.  I have a couple of openings if you are interested in attending.  Details can be found here.

The 2nd layer which is the Pretty in Pink card stock was punched with the Pinking Hearts Border punch.  The next layer (Very Vanilla card stock) was run through the Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder. 

The heart was stamped using Pretty in Pink Classic Ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  The layer under the heart was punched out using the Full Heart punch.  Because it wasn't an exact fit, I trimmed the bottom layer.  Most of the trimming was down on the bottom portion of the heart. 

The ribbon is from the new 5/8" Satin Ribbon listed in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
