Today’s card focuses on the gorgeous Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. This canvas-looking paper features illustrated and painted flowers on one side with all-purpose patterns on the other side. Designed to represent the Stampin’ Up! color spectrum, the repeating patterns can be used as focal images or as accent pieces on your card bases and scrapbook layouts. Or create elegant backgrounds with the color gradient patterned paper.
The flowers were die cut from the 5th sheet, 1st row and the background is from the 6th sheet, 1st row using the Blooming Happiness dies.
I added the Vellum Cardstock (die cut with the Ornate Layers Dies) to soften the background. I die cut the leaves from the Flourishing Ferns Dies using the green gradient patterned paper from the Hues of Happiness DSP.
I also used the Cottage Rose Dies to create some of the leaves and flowers. One flower added to front of card, one to the inside of card and one for the envelope. The word “friend” is from the Happiness Abound Stamp Set. I added rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones for a little glitz!
Thanks for stopping by today – have a great weekend!
