InKing Royalty’s November Blog Hop – Peaceful Boughs

Deck your projects with pretty pine cones and beautiful boughs using the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set with the coordinating Beautiful Boughs Dies. And, of course, I had to add a little bit of plaid to it with the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. Did I tell you I love plaids – especially during Christmas?
The circles are from the Layering Circles Dies. I die cut the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 3 times and arranged them so they were a little off each other. The boughs are die cut using Mossy Meadow Cardstock and the pinecones were stamped with Soft Suede and die cut using the pinecone die.
The background was created using the Woodland Embossing Folder and the rhinestones were colored in using the Cherry Cobbler Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker. I don’t remember where the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread came from but it was part of a bundle.
Card Measurements:
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (base card): 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (fold in half)
- Whisper White Cardstock (next layer): 8 3/8 x 5 3/8
- Plaid Tidings DSP (center panel): 5 1/2 x 2 1/2
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (for rings): 3 x 3
- Mossy Meadow Cardstock (for boughs): 3 x 3 and 2 x 1 1/2
- Whisper White Cardstock (for pinecones): 2 x 1
- Mossy Meadow Thread: About 6 inches

I love this card – the plaid, the circles, and of course the pine cones and the boughs. Cherry Cobbler is a pretty color for Christmas, and your colored rhinestones add a perfect touch.
