Here’s a Fun Faux Fold Card for you!

By | October 2, 2022

Good Morning Crafters

I hope you had a chance to view Stampin’ Up!’s World Card Making Event. In addition to projects they introduced a stamp set collection which will come out in the Spring Mini Catalog. The DSP is to die for! And I love the sentiments/greetings in the new stamp set. If you want to view the event, click here: https://events.stampinup.com/worldcardmakingday/video?fbclid=IwAR3uFhTqJkOsE2bODiP1rRgT2-Y1Bh9syh6a76d79WpC2D5GrFaTb8vSuuI

For today’s card, I am using the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper as the main focal point.

I love the flower bouquets in this sheet of the DSP. Have you seen the faux fun fold card that everyone is making? It is so easy to make – a lot easier than it looks.

Directions:

  • Score the 8″ x 5 1/2″ piece at 3, 6 and 7 inches and score the 6″ x 3″ at 4 1/4 inches.
  • Add the two pieces of DSP to the cardstock (see picture of finished card below)
  • Add adhesive tape to the top and bottom of th 3 x 6 piece.
  • Attached to the front of the card (long side in front and short side in back)

I fussy cut one of the images from the DSP with our Paper Snips. I then attached it to the Basic White Panel which was embossed with the Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder.

The sentiment is from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set. I stamped it on Basic White Cardstock and die cut it using the Layering Circles Dies.

The rhinestones used are retired. Sorry but I can’t remember the name of the embellishment.

Love the sentiment for the inside of the card. It’s also from the Flowing Flowers Stamp set.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were inspired just a bit❤️
