Have you heard the saying “Dog Days of Summer”? That usually happens in August around here but it’s that hot now! Oh well, it’s a good excuse to stay indoors and work on my beloved cards!
Since I had the Modern Medley DSP out, I decided to use it again today but give it a shabby chic look. Check out the Masculine card I made yesterday with the same DSP.
I love the 2013-2015 In-Color Coastal Cabana especially with paired with Baked Brown Sugar or Very Vanilla Card Stock. It reminds me of the theme that is really popular right now with the distressed shabby chic, beachy look. The name escapes me.
The sentiment is from the Happy Day Clear Mount Stamp Set and was stamped with Coastal Cabana Classic Ink on Naturals Ivory card Stock (base card). The Coastal Cabana Card Stock was die cut using the Paper Doily Sizzlits L. The strips of paper are from the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper and the button is from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of the buttons because they match the Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral colors.
