Keep using your Journey Gel Press! Instead of just a featured accent, create the whole background of your card with the printing plate. You can also create a background with the Fluttering Hearts Gel Impressions Plate!
Fluttering Hearts is used on its own, the same idea as your Journey Gel Press, but with a pattern already ingrained in it. Fluttering Hearts is also 20% off this month.
First, grab a Brayer. Apply Pineapple Smoothie Acrylic Paint onto the Fluttering Hearts plate with heavy pressure. Fill the raised areas and background of the plate. Then cover just the hearts in Sweet Berry Acrylic Paint using light pressure on your Brayer. Press this onto your card base.
Don’t clean off your Fluttering Hearts plate just yet. Add Buttercream Acrylic Paint to the hearts for a quick highlight. Then use Fluttering Hearts like a stamp. Flip the plate over on top of the printed cardstock background, line up the hearts and press it into the cardstock again. After a few splatters of Bubble Gum and Sparkle Silk, allow your background to dry. Trim your card base and cut out a heart from the remaining scraps to pop out behind your sentiment.
