Today’s card features a top lift fun fold card. I was inspired by a regular card on Pinterest and decided to step it up and make a fun fold.
Card Measurements:
- Base card (Basic White Thick Cardstock) 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- Background (Designer Series Paper) 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Next Layer (Bumble Bee Cardstock) 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Center Panel (Basic White Thick Cardstock) 6 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ (fold in half and use Bone Folder for a sharp crease)
- Next Layer (Bumble Bee Cardstock) 4 3/8″ x 3″
- Top Layer (Designer Series Paper) 4 1/4″ x 2 7/8″
- Banner (Bumble Bee Cardstock) 4″ x 1 1/2″
- Top Banner (Designer Series Paper) 4″ x 1 3/8″
Speaking of the banner – when I was gluing it down to the front of the card I made a mistake and put glue all the way to the bottom. And since the banner was longer than the front panel, I had excess glue on there. What to do, what to do. I added a little piece of DSP to the back!
Side of the card
Once I figured out the measurements, it was a really quick card to put together.
I left off the greetings be I have many, many birthday and thank you cards. I’ll wait until I’m ready to send it out. In case anyone is wondering what is holding down the front of the card. It’s a magnet sold by Stampin’ Up! a couple of years ago.
Also, I forgot to mention that this gorgeous paper is a bundle (Stamp Set and DSP) you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase.
Thanks for stopping by today.
