Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper Farewell

By | April 28, 2023

Good Afternoon Crafters!

Today’s quick and easy card was created using the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper. The patterns in this DSP reminds me of impressionist greats like Money and Van Gogh. The designs in this pack feature pastel hues painted on canvas and works especially well for backgrounds and adding texture to die cuts and labels.

The focal point of this card is the beautiful DSP. The base card is the retiring Soft Succulent Cardstock – I layered that with Orchid Oasis Cardstock.

I added the scallop strip (Orchid Oasis Cardstock) which was cut from the Apple Blossoms Dies. A strip was added to both the top and bottom of the front panel.

I added a strip of white ribbon from the retired Flowers for Every Season Pack to the lower left side of the front panel. The sentiment was stamped with Orchid Oasis on a scrap piece of DSP, cut with our Paper Snips and glued to the white ribbon with our Multi-purpose Liquid Glue. To finish off the card, I added 3 butterflies from the retired Butterfly Gems.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit.
