Cheerful Daisies in Moody Mauve!

Good Afternoon Crafters!

Did I not tell you that this may turn out to be one of my favorite stamp set bundles? I’m using Cheerful Daisies Bundle for today’s card in soft Moody Mauve and Old Olive colors. I’m also thinking of making cards in purple, blue, yellow – the choices are endless!

The background layer was embossed with the retired 3D Brick Mortar Embossing Folder. And then attached to the base card which is Basic White Thick Cardstock using our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I first cut the large die using Basic White Cardstock, colored the center of each flower with Daffodil Delight Ink and a Water Painter and the leaves with Old Olive and a Water Painter and set aside. I then cut the center of the each flower with the coordinating die. Next step was to watercolor the center edges of these die cuts with Moody Mauve Ink and a Water Painter.

Daisies were adhered to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was cut with the coordinating die and attached to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack. Lastly I used the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds and Wink of Stella (for the centers of the daisies) for a little sparkle.

Looking at this card after photographing it, I think I will move the bow to underneath the sentiment. It’s easy to do because I used a Mini Glue Dot.
